With over 15 years of experience in the media industry, Divya's diverse background includes successful stints as a TV anchor for Super Singer on Star Vijay TV, a professional emcee, and stage anchor for high-profile corporate and government events, including engagements for the Prime Minister's office, central and state governments, and events attended by the Indian PM, Vice President, and Defence Minister.
In late 2017, Divya's deep passion for Indian fashion and her never-ending awe and love for the six yards led her to establish Dvij. Originally a social media-only business, Dvij garnered a strong word-of-mouth reputation, which has now evolved into a full-fledged e-commerce platform. Divya's keen eye for fashion, colors, and fabric, along with her creative instincts, are the driving forces behind Dvij's unique and captivating collections.

Shibu Tharakan is our Mentor and Advisor. With an impressive 20-year career spanning various industries, Shibu brings a unique blend of experience and expertise to the company.
Shibu spent a decade working at leading e-commerce giants, Amazon and Alibaba. During his tenure at Amazon, Shibu built the company's private label business from scratch, taking it to an impressive $1.5 billion in revenue in just six years. At Alibaba, he demonstrated his exceptional business acumen by building a $120 million fashion business in Europe, in a short span of two years.
Prior to his e-commerce career, Shibu worked for seven years in strategy consulting at prestigious firms, KPMG and Deloitte, where he served as an engagement manager. In these roles, he developed a deep understanding of business strategy, growth planning, and market analysis, which has been instrumental in shaping the vision and direction of DVIJ.
Shibu began his professional journey as an engineer, spending three years in the engineering sector at renowned companies such as Siemens and Emerson. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in problem-solving, project management, and technical expertise.
Shibu is dedicated to creating a seamless and enriching online shopping experience for fashion enthusiasts while championing sustainability and supporting traditional craftsmanship. His passion for building businesses and navigating them through phases of hyper growth is evident in his track record and serves as a driving force behind the success of DVIJ.
